Visiting Montana to Denmark!
We had the chance to visit the Montana company in the heart of Denmark. It's a real dive into a colorful universe based on respect, freedom, creativity and excellence!
Our mini trip took us to Copenhagen (Montana showroom) and Funen to discover this incredible factory where Montana furniture is made from A to Z in a privileged environment recently decorated by the French artist Walala.
Montana is a family business founded by Peter J. Lassen, a visionary designer who designed extremely modular furniture so that everyone can have the opportunity to create their own interior environment. Today, it is his son, Joakim who has taken over the reins. We even attended his birthday party in an indescribable atmosphere. Montana offers a shelving system based on 36 basic modules, 4 depths and 43 colors. In order to offer complete furnishing solutions, they also produce tables and chairs for private and professional use. We find icons of Danish design like the Kevi chair or Verner Panton's first chair (Panton One chair).
True DNA of the company, color is everywhere. The furniture is delivered in a palette of 43 poetic colors, developed by Margrethe Odgaard, a Danish color expert who attempts the most daring experiments. All you have to do is choose your atmosphere according to your mood and your personality. And perhaps try mixtures that will bring a unique identity to your interior.
Ecology is also at the center of Montana's concerns. The company uses exclusively water-based varnishes, without odor or solvents. It has also obtained the European ecolabel for the majority of its production, making it a leader in Europe. From this visit, we will also remember the faces, those of Bart the Benelux representative, of Louise, Marcia and Manuella, the sales managers who accompanied us with kindness and professionalism throughout this initiatory journey!
